TritonTrak system helps utilities contractor RWB Utilities manage and secure their plant and vehicle fleet

South Yorkshire based gas networks contractor RWB Utilities has chosen TritonTrak as their tracking and security partner for their expanding vehicle and plant fleet.
Wayne Butcher, Managing Director of RWB Utilities on the benefits of using the TritonTrak system; “Our vehicles and plant move around a lot as we always have multiple jobs going all over our region, so it’s important for me and our guys in the office to be able to see where our kit and teams are live. I can be out of the office quite a bit so I use the TritonTrak app a lot, especially when we need to move materials and I need to know where my grabs and tippers are.
Having my vehicles and machines on one system and app really helps us, as we can make sure that we minimise wasted journeys and that if we need materials or a machine on a job, we are sending the right wagon or closest spare machine.
The system helps us with our admin too. It sends us weekly reports which give us accurate working hours. It alerts us when our vehicles and machines are due their services. On top the savings we’ve made by being more efficient through the day, we’ve also cut out unauthorised use of our vans outside of working hours, which alone saves us hundreds of pounds every month.
It’s easy to set security alerts and immobilise my machines and vans when I need to. I also like that fact that I can always get hold of someone 24-hours a day if I need any help.”
