Team TritonTrak complete the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge for Martin House Hospice

Several plucky members of the TritonTrak team took on the challenge of the Yorkshire Three Peaks, in aid of local charity Martin House Children’s Hospice at Boston Spa.
They took on the 26-mile route over the testing climbs of Pen-Y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough in the beautiful North Yorkshire dales, climbing over 1700m through the day.
The team set off at 7 a.m. to attack the first climb of Pen-Y-Ghent, followed by a 10-mile hike to the second climb, Whernside. Starting from the picturesque Ribblehead viaduct, the team climbed for two hours to the highest point of the challenge before descending ready for the hardest of the three climbs, Ingleborough.
Ingleborough conquered, the team then descended the last, gruelling five miles back to Horton-in-Ribblesdale to complete the challenge and gather our thoughts over a well-deserved pint. Challenge completed in just over ten hours.
The team would like to thank all those who have supported them and are incredibly proud to have raised over £3500 for Martin House, which provides care for children with life limiting illnesses and provides invaluable support to their families.
