Plant Tracking system helps recover a Bobcat Mini Digger

A Harrogate based multi-discipline construction company have successfully recovered a Bobcat E17 Mini Digger using the plant tracking technology delivered by their TritonTrak Plant Tracking System.

The powerful mini excavator was stolen from their North Yorkshire yard over a weekend period when thieves simply loaded up the excavator and drove off. However, they did not bargain for plant tracking technology kicking in.

The Triton’s plant tracking system tracked the machine as it made its way across counties where it was eventually unloaded and hidden in a disused farm in the North East.

The company alerted the police to the precise location of the machine and advised that they were on route to collect their equipment. They were met by the Police at the thieves’ hiding place and once identified as theirs, the £25,000 machine was on its way back home to Harrogate and back out to work on Monday morning.
