Martin House Vehicle Theft

Triton Trak support young people in Yorkshire with Vehicle Tracking devices.

Working across West, North and East Yorkshire, Martin House charity provides hospice care for children and young people with life-limiting and life-threatening illnesses.

Martin House relies on vans to collect donations for their charity shops. In February 2022, a Martin House van was stolen. Resulting in disruption to funding for essential hospice care.

Alex Ryan, Co-Managing Director of TritonTrak, commented. ‘’Being a Leeds local, I am horrified about the Martin House vehicle theft. We have supported Martin House before, raising money by walking the Yorkshire Three Peaks. I knew that our vehicle tracking and monitoring devices would help prevent vehicle theft for Martin House in the future.’’

‘’Free of charge, we have installed our Triton Trak Tracking Systems onto Martin House Vehicles. As a company, we are pleased to continue supporting such a worthwhile local charity.’’ Commented Co-Managing Director of TritonTrak, Dean Walker.

Alex Ryan highlighted. ‘’Across the UK, we have seen a rise of plant and vehicle theft on Construction sites. Fuel prices are at a historic peak, demand for plant equipment is currently high and businesses are increasingly choosing to purchase second hand machinery. We are aware that the financial cost of replacing stolen vehicles and plant machinery is compounded by disruption to operations and concerns over contract fulfilment. We are proud to further support the meaningful work of Martin house and prevent vehicle theft in the charity sector.’’
